Shelley Strong 2

Shelley’s jewellery is inspired by the rhythms and textures of the natural world and the strength and grace of the female form. She sees each piece as a reflection of movement—subtle curves, cycles of growth, and the quiet power that flows through both landscape and life.

For more than 25 years, Shelley has lived and crafted jewellery in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, New Zealand, and Ontario. These diverse landscapes and cultures have shaped not only her technical skills but also her artistic vision. The vast skies, rugged horizons, and resilient spirit of northern and coastal places continue to influence the forms, textures, and energy expressed in her work.

Now based in Grey Bruce County, Shelley creates jewellery in her Owen Sound studio, surrounded by tall trees and the steady hum of CBC Radio. Every piece is handcrafted with intention, blending traditional goldsmithing techniques with an organic aesthetic inspired by the natural world. Her work invites a connection between metal, nature, and the person who wears it, creating jewellery that is both timeless and deeply personal.
