Brian Clowes has been involved in metal trades since 1996 and blacksmithing since 2004. He worked 4 years in Alberta with several smiths specializing in architectural ironwork, design and installation. Then he worked 2 years in the UK learning traditional joinery in contemporary designs. In 2018, he established Forty Hills Forge to showcase his own craftmanship. Since then, he has created a line of functional ironwork, one-of-a-kind furniture items, as well as taking commissions for larger projects
